Robert Priest2009 APMP Conference

  • October 20-21 (prior to PCUSA World Mission Celebration)
  • Cincinnati, OH

This year's conference topic:
“A Fresh Look at Short Term Missions”

Guest Speaker:
Dr. Robert Priest
Professor of Mission, Trinity Evangelical Divinity School
Dr. Priest recently published a highly regarded book: “Effective Engagement in Short Term Mission, Doing it right.”

2009 Conference is Unique
The APMP venue is new this year. Our annual conference will take place prior to the General Assembly's World Mission Celebration (Oct 23-24) and the Mission Network Gatherings (Oct 21-22). Plan now to join APMP in Cincinnati and stay to take part in this powerful line up of mission events. In a year of tight mission budgets participants will benefit from the streamlined agenda and be blessed by the rich diversity of participants coming from around the world. Dozens of PCUSA missionaries, hundreds of Mission Networkers, and scores of mission pastors, directors, and elders will be converging on Cincinnati – you won't want to miss this!

Two blessings on one ticket!
The APMP Cabinet chose to hold our annual meeting just before the World Mission Celebration so that mission leaders could participate in two key conferences for the price of a single airline ticket.

Last Year's Conference:

Over 115 people gathered in Louisville, KY for our 2008 APMP Conference. Dr. Dudley Woodberry presented on "The Fullness of Time for the Muslim World." If you weren't with us, we hope you will join us next year. Here are some resources requested during our time in Louisville together:

The leaders of APMP have designed the association to provide its members with outstanding opportunities for personal enrichment, professional identity and encouragement and support.
We provide stimulating times of professional interaction to improve effectiveness in ministry and make sure to build in significant time for mutual sharing about the particular challenges, problems, concerns and successes that come with being leaders of mission for PCUSA congregations.
