Dear friends of Christ's mission,

Due to a number of circumstances, the cabinet of the Association of Presbyterian Mission Promoters has decided to cancel the 2011 conference that was to be held in Seattle, Nov 29-Dec 1. For 25 years, APMP has gathered every fall to network mission leaders in our church, those serving in congregations and Presbyterian related mission organizations, and those serving in our denomination's mission department. Many hours of rewarding learning and networking have taken place. We think Christ's mission in the world has been advanced.

We also believe the Lord of the Church and the Savior of the world still has a plan for mission leaders to meet together to "stir one another up to love and good works." The cabinet will hold a retreat in January to seek the Lord for His new vision. Your prayers would be deeply appreciated.
